The ocean invades Goed TV

Morganonline’s first film, ‘Ocean invasion’, will be broadcast nationwide for the first time in the Netherlands on Goed TV. To date, it has been screened at two film festivals – the World Festival of Underwater Pictures in France and the International Underwater Film Festival in Serbia – and for private audiences. Goed TV, a digital channel, will broadcast the film in July 2008.

‘Ocean invasion’ looks at the conditions that allow a single species to dominate the marine environment, and the ecological devastation that they can cause. One of the ways that species are introduced into a new environment is in the ballast water of ships. ‘Ocean invasion’ shows a newly developed ballast water cleaning system. The film is in both English and Dutch.
